Randy Blythe Posts Very Lengthy Article on the Common Assholes Use of the Internet.

Randy Blythe has updated his Tumblr blog with a very lengthy (about 7,050 words (making it about 4 short of The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber (for those of you who measure in Hemingways))).

While the topic is fairly well worn territory, Blythe most likely (I haven't had a chance to read it yet) puts a fairly interesting spin on the topic, and it would seem reveals a interesting bit of insider information into the history of Lamb of God.

Blythe has always been one of my favorite vocalists and frontmen. His vocal versatility, and engaging, poignant and well delivered lyrics (which help make up the word cloud you see at the top of this page) have always been a major part of my enjoyment of Lamb of God. Randy's ventures into social media (his Twitter account here) have been a very awesome insight into one of metals premier vocalists. I highly reccomend following along.

Another New Lamb Of God Track

"Set To Fail", the newest officially released track from Wrath can be hear here.  I don't like this one as much as "Contractor", but it sounds better than most of Sacrament.  

It sounds like there is another vocalist on the track besides Randy, but I can't find out who it is ( he sounds familiar).  If there is not however another vocalist on the track, then Randy Blythe has undoubtedly become the most versatile and talented vocalist in metal.  Publish Post

The Lamb Of God Wrath Map

First the in studio videos, and now this. Lamb of God have a Google Earth sort of configuration that allows you to plot your place on it and upload a photo and your thoughts on the song or anything else. The prognosis thus far is global domination, mark your place on the Wrath map, and assist the cause.

NEW LAMB OF GOD

YES. I've been waiting for this for a long while now. Lamb of God debued a new song on the first night of their west coast dates with Metallica. Check out the two fan vids of the song (rumored to be called "Overhauled" below:



From the sound of things, I think we're definately in for something mounstrous in February. Expect better quality rips and maybe a new song or two in the next couple of days.

New Lamb of God

LAMB OF GOD will release their fifth studio album Wrath, on February 24, 2009. The record will be released in North America by Epic and will be the first release with their new label Roadrunner outside of North America . Wrath is produced by Josh Wilbur and was recorded in studios in New York , Virginia , and New Hampshire .
LAMB OF GOD finished the touring cycle on the Grammy nominated album Sacrament at the end of 2007. The two-year trek was documented in the now certified Gold DVD Walk with Me in Hell and culminated with the band headlining arenas across the US last December.
The band has taken the entirety of 2008 off the road to focus on the writing process for Wrath.
“This album is going to surprise a lot of people,” comments drummer Chris Adler. “Typically bands that get to where we are in our career begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. We chose a different path. No one wants to hear another band member hyping a new record. Wrath needs no hype. We have topped ourselves and on February 24 you will feel it.”
As always, LAMB OF GOD will embark on an extensive tour that will cover the globe. As previously announced, the band will be supporting METALLICA on the December leg of their tour. The first leg of the Wrath world tour will start in Finland on February 6 and will encompass dates in the UK , Australia , and Japan .

Lamb of God is absolutely one of my favorite bands. Watching Chris track drums for this album and hearing how fast and rad the drums were, I'm A.) Not surprised that the album is called Wrath. B.) pretty sure I'm going to like this album much more than Sacrament.
